Train ride from Papakura, Auckland to Wellington.

This was the first time on a train for the Howard's to go to Wellington.
We got dropped off at the train station in Papakura by poppa and then we had to wait for the Kiwirail to arrive.

We got some awesome seats with a table in between us so we were able to play cards.

The open air viewing wagon was awesome but really cold.  Lucky we all had beanies, scarves and jackets.

We even had a photo taken of us on the train as we passed our friends who live in Taihape.

It was a very long trip and by the time we got closer to Wellington it was getting dark so we were very happy when the announcement came over the loud speaker to say that we were arriving in Wellington train station.
